Steve Wilson - Alto & Soprano Sax
MaxJazz

"He's among the best New York jazz has to offer." (New York Times) and for more than two decades he has reigned as jazz's most consistently inspired alto and soprano saxophonists. A musician's musician, Wilson leads two critically acclaimed quartets whose repertoire explores the rich history of America's classical music while creating new soundscapes.

"He also boasts one of the most concise, yet eloquent playing styles of any current saxophonist."
George Varga, The San Diego Union-Tribune

"Impossibly, achingly gorgeous turn on soprano saxophone"
