LVanHart Artist Productions: LVanHart is a tribute to my late uncle, Garry Van Dezendorf, who passed away in 1992. The 'Van' had been dropped from the family name generations ago; he legally changed his to the original version just prior to his passing. L...Hart is yours truly. Artist includes the artists the company represents, and differentiates us from being just a production company, as we have always been primarily an artist management. Productions is about the live and recorded music the company has produced since 1998.
Congratulations to Ryan Truesdell on his and Gil Evans Grammy win for Best Instrumental Arrangement ('How About You) from his recording Centennial. He was also nominated for Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album and Best Arrangement Featuring a Vocalist ('Look to the Rainbow).
